(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)— Mustang baseball’s postseason run continues Thursday, April 30 against St. Petersburg’s Northeast High School in  in a regional playoff game.

Lakewood Ranch comes into the game with a record of 17-10 after falling to Sarasota High School in the 7A district final game.

The Mustangs lost 3-0 to Sarasota but look to rebound against Northeast.

The upcoming game is single elimination; the loser’s season will be over.

“It should be a great game as we look to make a run for a state championship,” said junior infielder Rhett Rampinelli.

The game is scheduled for St. Petersburg’s Northeast High at 7 p.m..
