(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Mustangs volleyball team carried on their winning tradition Thursday as they took care of Valrico Bloomingdale in a preseason showdown.

Lakewood Ranch dominated the game as they won their first three sets for the win.

Star players like juniors Kahlee York and Ande McDonald contributed to the match overpowering the Bulls.

“The first match didn’t go as well as we wanted it too but we greatly improved in the second match due to our core returners,” said Coach Perri Hankins.

The Mustangs volleyball team will take on the Tigers of Palmetto High School Sept. 1 at Palmetto.
