The song I chose to illustrate in my poster is Palace by BROCKHAMPTON. Picking a song was one of the harder parts of this project, and I finally decided on Palace because of its rhythm. I chose my original song based on lyrics, but realized that I should choose a song for the way it sounds, rather than the lyrical content. Palace made me think of climbing a tall staircase so I wanted to portray a faraway point that feels as if the viewer is heading towards it. I thought of stairs because of the steady beat of the music, but the song also has a flowing rhythm to it as well. This is why I incorporated the flowing lines in my poster. I am most happy with my color scheme of my poster, because the cool blues represent the soothing rhythm and the bright oranges represent the faster beat.
