In Prague, in his official visit to the Czech Republic, Netanyahu said: “The attack on a school bus crossed the line. Whoever tries to hurt and murder children, his blood be on his own head.”

Netanyahu’s warning comes in light of recent escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. On Thursday the al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas fired an anti-tank missile at an Israeli school bus near the border on Thursday, seriously wounding the driver and a 16-year-old student, according to Israeli sources.

As a response, the Israeli Army triggered air strikes killing 10 Palestinians including a woman and her daughter.

Al-Qassam Brigades announced that the the attack was in retaliation for the Israel´s Army air strike on Saturday, killing three Palestinian fighters. Israeli attacks between Saturday and Wednesday of this week left four Palestinians killed and five injured among them a pregnant woman.

Israeli PM also said that the government “will not shy away from taking all the necessary action, offensive and defensive” in order to protect their country and citizens, although he hoped that the situation wold be contained.

On Thursday night, Hamas, in control of Gaza, announced a cease-fire with Israel to put an end the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. Hamas reported to Israeli sources that this unilateral cease-fire is to be honored by all Gaza factions of the Strip.
