</strong>Students will learn about different kinds of line in art and nature, focusing on contour lines.  The project involves tracing shapes with crayon and painting their creations using watercolor paint.</p>

</span></strong>Students will discuss geometric shapes and compare them to natural shapes.   Sponges cut into various geometric shapes and tempera paint will be used to stamp scenes on to 12&#215;18 construction paper.  Numerous samples are available to trigger ideas.</p>
