<![CDATA[looking for a simulated country?]]>Well, look no further: as part of the AMANI AFRICA EURORECAMP process of building African Union capacity in the areas of crisis management, peacebuilding, and Chapter VI peace operations, a full website has been developed detailing the countries of a fictional subcontinent of Kisiwa located off the coast of Somalia. The Factbook includes:
- historical, political, and topographical maps for the region
- a detailed history of the area
- individual profiles of the five countries of Kisawa: Carana, Katasi, Mosana, Namuna, Rimosa, and Sumora.
It is an outstanding resource for anyone who wants a ready-made setting in which to conduct a simulation on fragile and conflict-prone countries.
