Why is this FEC report so important?

Rightly or wrongly, both Republicans and Democrat leaders, political pundits, candidates, and especially the national news media use it as a gauge to measure our strength as a political action committee.

If we have what they consider a poor report, you can bet the biased news media will a print a headline that says “Sarah Palin’s Influence Running Out of Steam.”

But if our report shows we’ve raised more money than the left-wing committees, folks will know we are a force to be reckoned with and the headline will read:

“Sarah Palin Conservatives running Obama Liberals Out of Town!”
