<p>I see the blaming of the economy as a type of denial of the Next-Generation Implosion. Core Gaming is not going to grow in customers.</p>
<p>In the video, you never hear &#8216;customers&#8217; talked about except in some vaporous appendage to the &#8216;business model&#8217;. You never hear Nintendo mentioned or the New Generation companies.</p>
<p>Blaming the recession for the Next-Generation Implosion is like blaming the thunderstorm for knocking down a hollowed rotting tree. The tree looked so strong on the outside, but we all knew of the decay on the inside. Gusts from an economic wind wouldn&#8217;t knock it down if it was healthy.</p>
