The Spiderman logo branding of PLAYSTATION 3 will also be gone.</p>
<p>From Sony&#8217;s words and actions, it appears Sony is killing Kutaragi&#8217;s vision of a &#8216;computer&#8217; and focusing the PS3 as a video game machine.</p>
<p>The PS3 Slim does seem to have that &#8216;Chinese cheapness&#8217; sense about it. I am curious how the customer reaction will be once it gets into their hands. Did the price cut come with cuts of product quality?</p>
<p>If your console was being outsold by the Xbox 360, why make quality hardware a priority? It doesn&#8217;t seem to bother customers with the 360 so why should it bother Sony?</p>
