At Blizzcon, the other host aside from Geoff Keighely (sp?) was Kat Hunter. At one point, Kat asks a question and gives some examples of games and says Warcraft 4. Everyone knows a Warcraft 4 will eventually be made, so this wasn’t that noticeable. Blizzard, however, was pissed. What I noticed is later when Kat decided to make a direct question to the CEO of Blizzard saying something like, “I said Warcraft 4 earlier so for everyone, I want to ask you directly, ‘Is Warcraft 4 in development?'” The CEO gave the answer that all RTS resources are in Starcraft 2’s expansion and Blizzard DOTA (which isn’t a denial, of course).

The Bimbo screwed up and this was her way of recovering. But then the Bimbo screws up AGAIN.

On the second day of Blizzcon, as time ticks down to it starting, Kat Hunter was heard saying into her earpiece something like ‘no-one was supposed to know anything about Warcraft 4 just yet till Kat Hunter came along and mentioned it, so Metzen was pretty pissed’.

Warcraft 4 couldn’t have had a better announcement than on the destruction of a bimbo’s career. Hehehe.
