<p><em><strong>&#8220;the November system update will also finally give you the ability to transfer content between two 3DS consoles</strong>&#8220;</em></p>
<p><em>That&#8217;s odd. When Nintendo released the DSi XL, they didn&#8217;t allow us to transfer data from our old DSi. Yet why would I need this feature for 3DS? </em></p>

<p>It is pretty obvious a new 3DS is coming out (with a new branding).</p>
<p>Now here is what I find interesting. Let&#8217;s assume many people who bought the 3DS will buy the 4DS. This will increase the hardware sales <em>but not the software sales</em>. In other words, the install base isn&#8217;t really growing. Already, we see 3DS hardware sell but not the software. The relaunch will increase this gap.</p>
