<p>It&#8217;s clear Steam isn&#8217;t aimed at PC gamers but at the console kids. Steam&#8217;s Big Picture we can do ourselves. We don&#8217;t need Steam for any of this.</p>
<p>The only leverage Steam has is the DRM on your game library. The gentle reader might ask, &#8220;But how did people get hundreds and hundreds of games in their Steam game library?&#8221; It was those Steam sales. They&#8217;re not about giving value to gamers or to the games but tethering you to Steam.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a shame to gamers that the Valve Corporation no longer makes games and keeps doing this platform crap.</p>
