<div><em>I put &#8220;Social&#8221; in quotes because this refers to social network and free-to-play games, not any game that actually involves being social (like Wii Sports, Mario Party, or Just Dance).</em></div>

<div><em>Anyway, this stat shows that being free does hurt the value, and basically makes the bare bones games glorified demos&#8230; which don&#8217;t do a good job at selling the games.</em>The bubble is definitely going to pop on this.</p>
<p>Maybe game makers should be spending less time on &#8216;miracle business models&#8217; and more on making high quality games.</p>
