<![CDATA[Best gaming value ever on GoG this weekend]]>If you go to GoG, they have all their EA games on sale for 60% for the entire weekend. Since so many new people are on this site that didn’t come here for the gaming, you may think, “EA? You mean that lousy game company that made Mass Effect and puts out all those Madden games? And what the heck is a GoG?”

EA does make awful games, but EA is a publisher. What EA did was buy out all these incredible PC game companies of the past. EA games means all these other PC game companies like Origin, Maxis, and Bullfrog.

And GoG is where you can buy all these games, DRM free with manuals, soundtracks, and all, where they will play with modern computers. With a 60% sale, you can get games like Ultima 7 for like a couple of dollars.

This is the best value I’ve ever seen for gaming. I mean, you have some of the best RPGs with the Ultima games (where some you can get three games for just a couple of dollars). You have the Wing Commander games which haven’t been replicated yet in their quality. You have Sim City 2000. You have Theme Hospital. You have a game better than Civilization with Alpha Centauri. Oh, and there is Dungeon Keeper as well. These games are like the best PC gaming has to offer.

And the Ultima series IS one of those ‘games I can’t stop playing’. I’ve been looking for this sale since I want to get Ultima Underworld 1 and 2 where I don’t have to mess with Dosbox and all to get it going.

I’m going to have blast this weekend.
