I bought if for PS Vita and it fits perfectly with the short missions time and exploring the city looking for cool cars. I couldn’t put it down for a while, the game is pretty great.

On Zelda, a friend of mine said: “They’re going to ruin it with Aonuma puzzles and story like usual”, and I told him to wait, cause that might not be the case. You know why? Cause Aonuma has 3 Zeldas on his hands: Zelda Wii U, Wind Waker Remake and A Link to the Past 2

Why did we see so little Aonuma influences on the first trailer and gameplay? He might be neglecting the game, thinking that a 2D semi-remake doesn’t need as much of his atention, after all, that’s not the kind of Zelda he wants to work on.

We might not have as many Aonuma style gimmicks as usual, which would explain why the crappy caveman link appears but doesn’t take a lot of screen time.

Not to make Aonuma the eternal bogeyman of the Zelda franchise, the big problem with Zelda is that Miyamoto thinks he has ‘defined’ it. Miyamoto’s definition of Zelda is a fantasy game revolving around story and puzzles. I disagree vehemently with this definition. I don’t think the guy has a clue why the franchise became popular in the first place. Even Ocarina of Time had exciting combat as opposed to the boring Zeldas that came after.

I suspect also that Nintendo is operating based on fear due to the female Zelda gamers. Any emphasis on combat might scare away the females. I believe Metroid: Other M was designed the way it was in order to attract females (Metroid was always a male heavy franchise).

Zelda is now a game designed for girls. Bleh.
