But what about a promotion by buying a 2DS and getting a free game? Nintendo has done this before with the 3DSXL and earlier this year. If you bought either of those you could sign to club Nintendo to receive a free game worth $40 or $50. Wouldn&#8217;t that accomplish the same thing? Also with Pokémon releasing on the same day as the 2DS I can definitely seeing this tap into the crappy 6-year old customer.</em></p>
<p>Yes. No doubt Nintendo will play the &#8216;promotion card&#8217;.</p>
<p>But the bundle in games&#8230; well, that is a subject for another post.</p></div>
