Maritime vessels are thwarting pirates by blasting Britney Spears music at them. The pirates lose the will to fight upon hearing the music.</p>

<p>In Macross/Robotech Generation 1, the evil alien armada is paralyzed by pop music. If pirates are repulsed by pop music, perhaps maritime vessels should follow Robotech&#8217;s lead and include displays of <em>kissing</em> as well.</p>
