What does that remind you of? It reminds me of Robotech.

In Macross/Robotech Generation 1, the evil alien armada is paralyzed by pop music. If pirates are repulsed by pop music, perhaps maritime vessels should follow Robotech’s lead and include displays of kissing as well.
