<div align="left">In a series of cut outs, spirals, doodles, and ink blots he re-vamps existing text into new poetry and messages you never knew were concealed within.  As in the work above, <i>&#8220;Look for Art 267&#8221;</i>,  I love how he uses the process of high-lighting. Normally used to break texts down into their most salient points, Ashford&#8217;s highlights do the opposite: ignore the existing text and instead reveal an entirely different meaning locked in the sentences.</div>
