<![CDATA[gobelins: oktapodi.]]>A brilliantly-coloured, perfectly-timed, and totally entertaining new short from Parisian film-making and animation academy Gobelins L’École de L’Image , the only thing wrong with “Oktapodi” is that it’s a short. I want more more more. I also kind of want calamari, but that’s beside the point.
Created in 2007 by students Julien Bocabeille, Francois-Xavier Chanioux, Olivier Delabarre, Thierry Marchand, Quentin Marmier and Emud Mokhberi, “Oktapodi” has won a shitload of awards and festival recognition, and deservedly so.
