<![CDATA[andrea galvani.]]>Check out the haunting and sometimes almost absurdist work of Italian photographer Andrea Galvani. Lots of his shots capture a moment of stumbling upon, that split second where you’ve just realized you’re in the lion’s den but before the animals have turned to notice you. Each picture contains just a glaze of magic, but shot so beautifully and realistically that it’s almost unnerving. The eye responds first at the drama of the image, but then as the brain tries to figure out exactly what’s going on the feeling of surprise turns to wonder, or bewilderment, or, as in the case of the second shot, complete feline unease.
