Vodpod videos no longer available.

I need to get married and move to a cottage and make babies and grow old and look winsome.

“A Short Love Story In Stop Motion” is a masterful mix of stop motion and 2D animation created by Argentinian-born, Spanish-based artist and animator Carlos Lascano. I can’t get over the quality of light throughout. It’s thick and viscous and delicate and warm. Thought I can’t imagine how much complex work goes into making something look this easy, the result has such a natural ease. I’ve watched it 5 times now, and I don’t think I’m about to stop. Pure joy.

You can check out some very cool behind-the-scenes notes and photos from Lascano’s site here and his other excellent work here.
