I was lucky enough to see them live twice this summer, and both times they killed it. Words don&#8217;t do them justice.</p>
<p>Teaming up with <a href="http://bygrandchildren.com/"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Grandchildren</span></a> (a.k.a. Sean Pecknold), Grizzly Bear&#8217;s latest video for &#8220;While You Wait For The Others&#8221; is basically a tour de force of influenced yet evolved images. It harkens backward while also breaking forward and just basically kicking ass. Pecknold is the brother of Fleet Foxes&#8217; lead singer Robin Pecknold, and (amongst a whole host of great work) they&#8217;ve knocked it out of the park thrice before with three amazing vids for Fleet Foxes: <a href="http://www.vimeo.com/1309452"><span style="color:#008000;">&#8220;White Winter Hymnal&#8221;</span></a>, <a href="https://shapeandcolour.wordpress.com/2009/02/10/fleet-foxes-grandchildren-mykonos/"><span style="color:#ff6600;">&#8220;Mykonos&#8221;</span></a>, and <a href="https://shapeandcolour.wordpress.com/2009/01/30/fleet-foxes-grandchildren-he-doesnt-know-why/"><span style="color:#00ff00;">&#8220;He Doesn&#8217;t Know Why.&#8221;</span></a> The WWH video is one of my total favourites of last year&#8230;</p>
