Or what I&#8217;m doing here, or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself. And I&#8217;m very intrigued, and, oh my, this soup&#8217;s delicious, isn&#8217;t it?&#8221;</p>
<p>So, soup aside, we find ourselves watching <span style="color:#ff6600;"><a href="http://www.stickymonsterlab.com"><span style="color:#ff6600;">Sticky Monster Lab&#8217;s</span></a></span> trailer for a &#8220;new animation and compilation album&#8221; called <em>The Loaner</em>. Much like Mrs. Peacock (and you&#8217;d be surprised how often I find myself genuinely thinking that), I&#8217;m very intrigued.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://shape-and-colour.com/2011/11/09/sticky-monster-lab-the-loner-teaser/poster550/" rel="attachment wp-att-5231"><img loading="lazy" data-attachment-id="5231" data-permalink="https://shapeandcolour.wordpress.com/2011/11/09/sticky-monster-lab-the-loner-teaser/poster550/" data-orig-file="https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg" data-orig-size="550,776" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="poster550" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg?w=213" data-large-file="https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg?w=550" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5231" title="poster550" src="https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg?w=550&#038;h=776" alt="" width="550" height="776" srcset="https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg 550w, https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg?w=68&amp;h=96 68w, https://shapeandcolour.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/poster550.jpg?w=213&amp;h=300 213w" sizes="(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px" /></a></p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been a fan of designer toys and monster for as long as I can remember, and here they are: animated, in a digital world, living their lives. The ultra-digitized animation style is one of my favourites, and when it&#8217;s done as well as this I get giddy. These monsters are on point.</p>
<p>Alright, <em>The Longe, </em>I&#8217;m not sure what&#8217;s happening yet, but your teaser is triumphant. Consider me teased! I anxiously await the end of November 2011, when all will be revealed.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><div class="embed-vimeo" style="text-align: center;"><iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/31766437" width="600" height="338" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe></div></p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Also, I&#8217;m not sure who the loner&#8217;s little pink animal friend is, but it reminds me of that episode of <em>Futurama</em> where Fry finds out the dog he thought forgot about him spent the rest of his life waiting for him to come get him. It&#8217;s called &#8220;Jurassic Bark,&#8221; and if you want to weep until all your innocence is lost, I suggest you go watch it.</p>
