DC’s big preview night gave fans a chance to delve deeper into the comic book giants upcoming cinematic releases.

One such character that has proved as elusive as the big-green-yonder he calls home, is Jason Momoa’s Aquaman.

Last night Momoa had the chance to share his unique approach to the superhero who is unlike the other Justice Leaguers. “He’s the only one that’s both human and he’s a god. I want to see him struggle with the fact that he has these powers and he doesn’t know how to handle them; he hasn’t been trained.”

With DC’s reboot of their comic book lineup in 2012, Aquaman was given the opportunity to rise from the moniker as the Justice League member that sucks, with his Throne of Atlantis comic book storyline proving a critical and commercial success. Showing that the superhero from two worlds could be as compelling as his more famous peers.

Momoa’s Aquaman will debut in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice this summer.
