Hi, we are Rachel and Louise – two women who are/were married to the same man and in the 15 years since meeting, have worked together to create a happy, cohesive, blended family for the benefit of the children (and for our own sanity!)

We are here to share our experience on how we dealt with what can be an otherwise difficult and awkward situation.  Whether you’ve been in a blended family for many years and have had difficulty, or whether you are about to embark upon a journey of creating a new extended-blended family, we are here to help by offering resources, support and understanding.  Not just to make your blended family co-operate successfully, but to go that extra step and be able to enjoy enriching family experiences with everyone involved.

We really believe that relationships between x’s, step parents, grandparents, and other partners don’t need to be strained and horrible.  With the right attitude going in, children can benefit from a well rounded experience of an extended family that  makes them feel loved and supported from all angles.  We are proof that this can work, and we would love to see it work for you as well.
