<p>From my article :</p>
<p style="padding-left:30px;"><strong><em>Some of the regions in which GRACE claims ice loss in East Antarctica average colder than -30°C during the summer, and never, ever get above freezing. How can you melt ice at those temperatures?</em></strong></p>
<p style="padding-left:30px;"><a href="http://climateinsiders.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/800px-antarctic_surface_temperature.png"><img title="800px-Antarctic_surface_temperature" src="https://climateinsiders.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/800px-antarctic_surface_temperature.png?w=510&#038;h=285" alt="" width="510" height="285" /></a></p>
<p>How did John Cook respond? He posted a lengthy three part straw man &#8220;rebuttal&#8221; discussing movement of glaciers <strong>near the coast, </strong>where temperatures are warmer. Which obviously was not what I was referring to.</p>

<p>Belief in AGW seems to be driven by comprehension problems.</p>
