<p>Lets see how realistic that is. According to NCDC, the US is warming at 1.2 degrees per century. (Half of that is due trend to upwards USHCN adjustments, but that is a different conversation.)</p>

<p>During the past decade (2000-2009) US temperatures have been <strong><em>falling </em></strong>at a rate of 7.3 degrees per century.<br />
