The only thing that changed is that a bunch of clueless people built houses in places that were a fire waiting to happen.</p>
<p>The lead story in today&#8217;s dENVER pOST is the former Colorado Springs fire chief saying that the Waldo Canyon fire was just a matter of time. (I won&#8217;t quote the dENVER pOST nORMAL because it seems that the only way they can make money is by suing bloggers who quote them.)</p>
<p>If you build a house in the middle of a pile of kindling wood, it is going to burn.</p>
