<p>The numbers are in: <strong>2012, the year of a surreal March heat wave</strong>, a severe drought in the Corn Belt and a huge storm that caused broad devastation in the Middle Atlantic States, turns out to have been <strong>the hottest year ever recorded in the contiguous United States</strong>.</p>

<p>NYT might as well be another propaganda arm of the White House.</p>
<p>March 2012 was mild, not hot &#8211; and was cooler than 1910. NOAA massively tampered with the March data. The graph below shows the untampered data.</p>

<p>2012 was not the hottest year, 1921 was &#8211; and 1931 and 1934 were not far behind. NOAA massively tampered with the annual  data. The graph below shows the untampered data.</p>
