The Obama administration blamed sequester cuts for having to cancel a traditional Marine Corps Band performance Sunday at the St. Patricks Day parade in Rocky Point, N.Y.

“We’re political pawns,” Joe Cognitore, commander of the Rocky Point VFW Post, which co-sponsored the parade, told the New York Post.
