<blockquote><p>The Member of Parliament for Tsholotsho South, Maxwell Dube, said information on climate change was not flowing to the grassroots level and the rural populace had developed several misconceptions.</p>
<p>Dube was speaking on the sidelines of a parliamentarians’ workshop on climate and sustainable development organised by the SADC Climate Services Centre in conjunction with the Meteorological Services Department held from April 11-12. “<strong>Some people still believe that climate change is linked to sin</strong>. Some are of the view that the erratic rainfalls or flash floods are largely because of lack of adherence to cultural values and practices,” said Dube.</p>
