If everyone at the Rose Bowl represented one molecule, odds are there would be no methane molecules represented.</p>
<p>RRTM, the radiative transfer model used by NCAR, shows that a 10X increase in methane would increase downwelling longwave radiation in the tropics by just over 1 w/m², or about 0.25%.</p>
<p>Methane also quickly oxidizes in the atmosphere.</p>
<p>In other words, fearmongering about methane is bullshit.</p>
