In other news, the ‘sexist and chauvinistical’ evil genius known as Mark Steyn is apparently part of a massive conspiracy or something: “He fails to appreciate that the very illegal activities of hacking into a site, combined with the blatant harassment afforded to anyone who dares challenge him (including some very foul language), only reinforce the need for legal intervention.” Paranoid much? In any case, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) should be able (1) to restore your site from backups; and (2) they should be able (using server-logs and such high-geekery) track back to whomever did actually hack your site. Oh, and (3)– we really don’t ‘Wannabe Ya.’ An e-mail commenter says: “I didn’t know San Joaquin supports Steyn. Or that the destruction of CaNNet’s server was motivated by support of Canadian Muslims and/or human rights tribunals.I’d say Law Is Cool is either lazy or paranoid, or both” …. (lawiscool)
