Dear Ever-Growing Army of Pre-Dead Minions:

It would appear that the massive Binky Mainframe has gone tits-up-in-the-daisies for the second time in a few months.

Must scuttle off (via meatspace) to the local Staples/  Busyness DePot to get said finicky technology pondered. Hopefully, nothing too ‘spensive. In the meanwhile, let’s all pray that the slightly geezered backup laptop (showing some vid-card problems) doesn’t similarly shuffle off to Buffalo right away.

Which is all a long way of saying that today’s posting will be later than usual, but hopefully still today, t’weather depending, an’ the crick don’t rise.

Update: Dying screen on laptop. Fragged hard-drive on Desktop. The computer gods appear to be enraged with us, or something. Must sacrifice virginal DVD-R or priceless data to appease them? UPSHOT: $400+ in repairs needed. Any donations to the Binky Fund much appreciated.
