Reprehensible, over-the top (and, we all forget, popular with the Kennedys and suchlike). Jonah Goldberg has thoroughly debunked the usual “See What Republicans Do If You Give Them Power?” meme which is still giving political mileage in the 21st century, since the leftist rewrite of history is still very much with us.
Now, we have a Left-wing American President.. with an enemies list. And a secret media cabal to keep the lapdog chattering classes on message– and that’s just in his first two months, and the stuff we know about so far. Got it?
Logically (according to the Leftard plotline), this means Obama is actually a right-wing Republican: he makes Rove and Cheney looks like MoveOn.org HuffPo zombies. Of course, he’s a super-left Socialist Democrat, so that label just doesn’t fit. Of course, it never was Republicans who’ve promoted these sorts of policies and attitudes– it always was the American Left, who later blamed the American right.
Could it be that.. gasp.. just like blacklisting tribunalist & lefty Joe McCarthy, Obama and his blacklisting Dem cadres are repeating radical history? After all, the first American fascist President, Glorious Leader Woodrow Wilson, had thugs, enemy lists, and government control over the economy and media. The new American President and his minions should not be repeating history, and setting up parallel government policy, nor using the power of the Presidential Office to attack loyal American citizens who dare to disagree.
But that’s pretty much exactly what socialist fascists usually do, isn’t it? ~
