~ THE RIGHTOSPHERE HAS been crankied up over the G-20 Toronto Police thing. Law & Order vs. Rights vs. picking on the obviously harmless. I’m in favour of laws, rights, and law & order. However.
Most cops (and soldiers) tend to be on the conservative side of things. Their political masters and top-down rules tend to be loony-liberal neo-Marxist. This must create not a little tension in the cops, and the force.
So the police have to tippy-toe with militant terror-supporting Jew-hating muslims, or road-blocking Sikhs; look the other way at public sex & indecency & rape whilst keeping “law & order” at Sodomy Pride marches; not call Jamaican black gangs and shootings precisely that; and put up with all the other manure-pile that is sensitivity-training, racial and religious special treatment, sexual harassment programs, and the perp-as-victim sociology of the modern academy.
We put these unheard-of demands on police forces, in addition to their real work, and the usual pressures. Politics and political correctness make of unreality– so we make our cops live in a semi-insane upside-down world, and then marvel when they ignore bad guys and pick on law-abiding white people.
It makes for a bizarre situation, where you end up with what we have, or storm-troopers, or the sort of cops like those in the UK who actually run away in front of lawbreakers (because they belong to self-appointed victim-groups).
Neo-Marxism is a form of insanity, and cannot be a rational and equitable basis for society, or peace-keeping and law & order. It also means that the ‘real’ enemies of peace & the state are dissenters, intellectual criminals, and those who oppose political correctness in a conservative direction. Thus, free speechers and Catholics and non-liberal Jews and pro-lifers and anti-Jihadists are the new criminals, and will not be treated equally before the law. And the police become the muscle of the neo-Marxist intolerant state and the bizarre, unworkable and inherently unjust theories at play.
The G-20 rioters and the police response is a vivid window into the confusions of our society, when you get what you want.. but don’t want what you get. ~

~ THE PURITANICAL/ emo/ psycho Islamo-Fascists joy-killers seem to hate laughter, and frivolity, and light-hearted whatnot. Like evil members of the Zionist entity military indulging (perhaps unwisely on YouTube) in a little trench-humour.. dancing whilst on patrol in dangerous Hebron to the evil harlot-warbling of infidel pop-tart Ke$ha. What more human, more typically soldier-ish, more wonderfully incongruous? That they are doing it to the endless caterwaul of the mosque makes it all the more fitting.
Right here is the difference between Israel and her enemies; between freedom and slavery; and dare I say it– between the sneering and mocking Left and light-hearted and alive Right in the West. Most true conservatives I know are intensely alive, individual, joy-filled, patient, funny, and memorable folks– hardly lock-step or joy-killing or group-thinky. Yes, that goes for the Christians and even the clergy. We can laugh at ourselves, at life, at human foibles.
By contrast, look how serious we are! say the Leftards and Jihadis. Oooo. Get over your bad selves.. even God is laughing at you. ~
~ OK, SO GRINDING and growling about bad guys is a necessary evil, but not the primary good of life.
Teh Binks is probably repeating himself, but the visual-media side of teh interwebs makes his eye-balls Mambo for joy. So much to see, in so many ways, via so many sites. It’s glorious.
Here are my abiding 5 faves, in no specific order.
(1) Google Earth: Yes, Google would sell their own grandmothers, but the people @ Google Earth have a product that gets better and better. With the input of nerdy-types, you can now see Manhattan in 3D, with all the buildings in 3D. Or the ancient Rome plug-in, which lets you see the buildings and monuments of yore, in any sort of light, and from many vantages. It’s ever-growing, includes links to YouTube and photo-sites, and is a real gift to those of us unable to do heavy-duty travel. There’s also a Google: Earth for Mars, the Moon & Space… and easy tours to hit all the cool stuff you might otherwise miss.
(2) Award-winning photo-geek Trey Ratcliff had perfected the beautiful art of HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, and practiced his art worldwide.. and put it online: Stuck In Customs. It’s a feast for the eyes and soul, and makes teh pretty for computer desktop backgrounds.
(3) APOD: Astronomy Picture Of The Day— the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Hubble plus all sorts of other amazing shots by pro and amateur astronomers, to remind you to look up, and see and be changed by it.
(4) Last but hugest: Flickr and all the other amazing picture-sites online. Search tourist shots, pro photogs, topical groups. Like teh interwebs, you’ll never reach the end of Flickr… cuz it’s constantly growing. ~
~ THE OTHER DAY, a loved one uttered the usual “poverty leads to terrorism” thing. Well, for some folks, maybe– but most of the 7/7 London Tube Bombers, and 9/11 kamikaze terrorists were.. middle or upper middle-class, and well educated. The London murderers were not even 1st generation immigrants– pointing to the importance of mosques, the internet, and “islamic insitutions” in radicalizing young men.
As I’ve said before, Islam harnesses the passion and world-changing energy of young men and turns it into massacre. It’s an abusive cult.
Centuries ago, a young man in a world seemingly collapsing around him had a law education and career all set out– but instead, he headed into the Italian hills to a cave to pray. Soon, other young men gathered around him. The man wrote a rule for all to live by– and so young Benedict invented Western monasticism, and utterly changed the world. In a time of collapse and war and plague, orders of monks preserved literature, taught, built churches and schools and hospitals, and passed on the best of the ancient world even as that world– in the Western Roman Empire at least– was collapsing.
If we live in a time when the lights are going out, we cannot merely despair. As we look at our youth, we cannot simply let pop culture swamp them, or violent fanaticism consume them.
There is a better way. ~

~ TODAY AS Teh Poodle Of Doom and Teh Binks made the Tims-run, I saw a youngish couple holding hands, walking down the street. She had a leaf and some flowers in the other hand. Awwwwwww! Time rolled back to when it was Teh (pre) She-Binks and I doing the same, taking time off from Summer jobs to do a little wuvvy duvvy.
It reminded me, however, of how much the hookup/ aborto-nookie culture takes away from us. Here were a young prince and princess (to each other, at least) play-acting king & queen. So it should be.
Here is his strength given to enfold here; and her love given back to uphold him. In her, a veritable small city of possible lives await in her body, to be united with the gift and key of life-making from him.
The pressures on yoots (form outside, and from the usual urges within) lead to early fooling, and to easy abortion and chemical tampering, to a pornified culture, family collapse– combines with the sense that they are alone in the universe. It makes for needless troubles, and the sins and sorrows of the fathers and mothers are handed down to the children.
Part of the rebirth of the West is all about helping to spiritually renew and encourage teh yoots– who are the next generation in energy and principle, seeking to make a difference.
We stand judged by the world that neo-Marxism, commercialized sex, abortion, social engineering, and disordered family life has created for youth.

If you are unwilling to take on this form of insanity and irrationality, you are simply Enemy™.

~ JUST SAW AVATAR again (no 3D this time around). My opinion hasn’t changed, but it what was interesting this time around was to watch the allegedly “amazing” wildlife Cameron planed on Pandora. Some of it was pre-historic, some obviously terrestrial (with a few extra limbs/ eyeballs/ accouterments), some brightly coloured versions of earth-stuff.. and a whole lot of the rest of it was based on the unearthly creatures which populate the deep oceans, James Cameron’s fave topic and original love.
The alien-creatures in his undersea drama The Abyss actually exist in similar forms (such as those little holy floaty lamp/butterfly things on Pandora). The flora and fauna and floating light-shows down deep underwater are truly some of the most lovely and astonishing things on God’s good earth– and until deep-diving subs made it possible for us to explore the hidden depths, we had no idea.
That we don’t have a lot of dangerous-to-us giant animal species to deal with nowadays is via welcome service done for us by our ancient ancestors– killing off and eating all the Big Effing Beasties not least because they were a portable feast of meaty goodness.
Those uber-flakies who wish for the end of civilization and for things to be like an extended eco-camping trip or something? Humanity spent most of the time of most people ever tyring to get and stay safe, fed, and sheltered. Now that we have a gluttonous overplus of such things in much of the West, we find that the fight for such is apparently something we actually need to give us something to live for.
The alternate cradle-to-grave soul-deadening nanny-state makes me want less government and more true life, not a return to some allegedly paradisaical poverty where we sit around smoking up and giving thanks for the death of most of the human virus, except we enlightened hippies and our tolerant ways.
Perhaps we need to drop all the hippies into the deepest Amazon or the Congo jungle to enjoy a little “paradise”.
And not, this does not make me a capitalist materialist big-screen worshipping boorjwah idiot– far from it. Just someone not willing to live dreams of madness and lies. ~
