Welcome to St George Private Hospital Nuclear Medicine.

Everyone who works in our practice is, I think, justifiably proud of the service we offer. We are celebrating 20 years since the practice opened this year, and still we all find the work we do interesting and challenging.

Everyone here is an enthusiast for nuclear medicine. Our aim is to make having a scan here as easy and seamless as possible for both the patients and their referrers. Few days go by when one of us is not suggesting a way to improve our service.

Unlike many other practices there is always a doctor in attendance to talk to the patients, supervise the studies and collate the scan with other results. None of the doctors here believes in ‘remote reporting’ and we won’t do it. This means that each of us is fully responsible for all aspects of the patient’s study as it is being performed.

After 20 years we are all looking forward to another 20 years of stimulating work and rewarding work.
