Mayfly

I find the region of SE Europe fascinating in the fishery, flies and innovations of Slovenians, Romanians, Serbians  and Hungarians. The streams seem classic freestone and the hatches similar to mine (NW). What little studying I have done, suggests fly fishing had much of its origin in this region during Roman rule. These sites are a bit difficult to negotiate but the visuals are instructive and for those of you that can read the words…all the better. Just showing the far reach of fly fishing and its addictive quality for all.
