The North end of the Joshua Tree National Park has surreal rock formations. It strongly reminds me of the old Westerns on early TV and movies with Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, The Lone Ranger chasing bad hombres amidst the oddly shaped rocks. I guess that kind of dates me hey?
