We believe that capitalism is not compatible with the sustainability of the natural environment. The unceasing search for profit & the accumulation of capital creates vast amount of waste at the same time as depleting natural resources, polluting the environment & diminishing biodiversity. It creates health problems, sickness & death, as well as leaving many without clean water & adequate food. I threatens to render the planet uninhabitable through climate change. We believe that only breaking this cycle of profit & capital accumulation can we live in a sustainable manner & with environmental justice for all.
