I love to make bookmarks, they are useful and a great way to try out a new technique before committing it to a card or scrapbook page. I wanted to try something different for me so I made a corner bookmark. I used this <a href="http://www.artneko.com/displayItem/A117-050D">corner accent stamp</a> from <a href="http://www.artneko.com/">Art Neko</a> and it is on sale for $1.00 (regular $5) + .20 cents shipping! I love how fair their shipping is.</p>

<p>It is really simple. I realized if you wanted to make it even easier you can just stick a piece of scotch tape across the back to secure since no one really sees the paper inside you can line it with but, hey you are using up scraps so it really is up to you. Here is the video:</p>
<span class="embed-youtube" style="text-align:center; display: block;"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='640' height='360' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/XoHqMxQWgoc?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'></iframe></span>
<p>Here is a bookmark in action (action!?!) :</p>
<p> <a href="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg"><img loading="lazy" data-attachment-id="7097" data-permalink="https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2012/06/18/quick-easy-bookmarks-video-tutorial/dcf-1-0-849/" data-orig-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg" data-orig-size="600,629" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;DiMAGE 7&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;1339866186&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;48.75&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;100&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;DCF 1.0&quot;}" data-image-title="DCF 1.0" data-image-description="" data-medium-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=286" data-large-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=600" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7097" title="DCF 1.0" src="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=468&#038;h=490" alt="" width="468" height="490" srcset="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=468&amp;h=490 468w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=143&amp;h=150 143w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg?w=286&amp;h=300 286w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/osa_bookmark_3.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></a></p>
<p>Try these in a variety of themes and colors, it will work with any corner stamp or just fold strips of magazine paper or other scraps. It&#8217;s all good. The kids will love to make these too!</p>
