I love green crafting! I find myself rummaging through my recycle bin all the time looking for something to repurpose for crafting. I also like making things that will do a good turn for the environment like these reusable gift bags:</p>
<p><a href="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg"><img data-attachment-id="8700" data-permalink="https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2013/03/29/eco-friendly-reusable-gift-bags/dcf-1-0-1411/" data-orig-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg" data-orig-size="620,495" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;DiMAGE 7&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;1364390081&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;11.125&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;100&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;DCF 1.0&quot;}" data-image-title="DCF 1.0" data-image-description="" data-medium-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg?w=300" data-large-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg?w=620" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-8700" alt="DCF 1.0" src="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=816" srcset="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg 620w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg?w=150&amp;h=120 150w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/reusablebags.jpg?w=300&amp;h=240 300w" sizes="(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px" /></a></p>
<p>I started with <a href="http://www.papermart.com/Product%20Pages/Product.aspx?GroupID=1790&amp;SubGroupID=1791&amp;ParentGroupID=18970&amp;origin=thefrugalcrafter">cotton drawstring bags</a> from <a href="http://www.papermart.com/?origin=thefrugalcrafter">Papermart</a>. I used the 5&#8243;x6&#8243; size and they were 39 cents each (you can&#8217;t make them that cheap!) Then I used my newly made spray inks, clear stamps and pigment ink to decorate them.  Watch the video to see how!</p>
<span class="embed-youtube" style="text-align:center; display: block;"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='640' height='360' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/ehwrdxP58mI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'></iframe></span>
<p>Easy huh? Another idea is that you can personalize a gift bag. Kids love stuff with their names on them and if you have an unusual name (like Lindsay, at least in the 80&#8217;s when I was a kid) it is hard to find personalized products.  Well, you can grab your letter stamps and make a bag that had anybody&#8217;s name on it, neat! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!</p>
