I am so glad to be back in Maine (although I think I left the hot sunny weather in Boston) but during my travels I bought a pack of origami star folding strips. I made a bunch of stars and turned some into earrings!</p>
<p><a href="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg"><img data-attachment-id="9215" data-permalink="https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2013/06/27/diy-puffy-paper-stars/dcf-1-0-1581/" data-orig-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg" data-orig-size="800,600" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;DiMAGE 7&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;1372171294&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;21.875&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;100&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;DCF 1.0&quot;}" data-image-title="DCF 1.0" data-image-description="" data-medium-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=300" data-large-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=800" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-9215" alt="DCF 1.0" src="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=768" srcset="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg 800w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=150&amp;h=113 150w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=300&amp;h=225 300w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/puffy2.jpg?w=768&amp;h=576 768w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>I was confused by the directions on the package so looked up the technique on Pinterest and understood how to make them. Then I thought this would be a good technique to video since it is a better &#8220;show me&#8221; technique, have a look:</p>
<span class="embed-youtube" style="text-align:center; display: block;"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='640' height='360' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/EHIwUHwg20s?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'></iframe></span>
<p>Now you can stop throwing away all of those strips of paper left next to your paper cutter! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!</p>
