It&#8217;s that time of year when we get ready to make valentines with our kids to send into school. Here is a sugar free valentine made quickly and inexpensively with supplies from <a href="http://www.papermart.com/Home?origin=thefrugalcrafter">Papermart</a>:</p>
<p><a href="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg"><img data-attachment-id="10390" data-permalink="https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2014/01/28/a-valentine-carnation-craft-cheap-and-great-for-classrooms/dcf-1-0-1922/" data-orig-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg" data-orig-size="600,747" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;DiMAGE 7&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;957927727&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;16.1875&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;100&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;DCF 1.0&quot;}" data-image-title="DCF 1.0" data-image-description="" data-medium-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg?w=241" data-large-file="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg?w=600" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-10390" alt="DCF 1.0" src="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg?w=823&#038;h=1024" srcset="https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg 600w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg?w=120&amp;h=150 120w, https://thefrugalcrafter.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/carnation_blog.jpg?w=241&amp;h=300 241w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Watch this quick video to see how it&#8217;s done, let&#8217;s get inky!</p>
<span class="embed-youtube" style="text-align:center; display: block;"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='640' height='360' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/WbLWOihfWeY?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'></iframe></span>
<p>If you want to see the tutorial for the DIY spray inks and daubers you can find it <a href="http://youtu.be/0M3Ac3QGUyI">here</a>.  I used <a href="http://www.papermart.com/french-lace-paper-doilies/id=16831?origin=thefrugalcrafter">6&#8243; paper doilies</a>, <a href="http://www.papermart.com/twisted-paper-cord/id=11120?origin=thefrugalcrafter">twisted paper cord</a>, <a href="http://www.papermart.com/unstrung-merchandise-tags/id=13253?origin=thefrugalcrafter">tags</a> and <a href="http://www.papermart.com/colored-bakers-twine/id=43672?origin=thefrugalcrafter">baker&#8217;s twine</a> from <a href="http://www.papermart.com/Home?origin=thefrugalcrafter">Papermart</a> on this project. These are supplies I find myself using over and over for projects. They are great to have around and  so inexpensive you won&#8217;t worry about the kids using them for their crafts too! I hope you enjoyed this sugar-free Valentine! Til next time happy crafting!</p>
