In a freezing, icey and snowy Pottsburgh, the Tigers showed perfect composure, in dealing with the conditions and the Cardinals.
Martin Mitchell threw 4 interceptions and the Cardinals turned the ball over six times in the cold and icy conditions. On the other side, Ballymore lost a fumble but had no picks, following good, solid playcalling and execution of those plays.
Bo Mills was composed throughout, as Ballymore rushed over 40 times, with three runners scoring touchdowns (Hawkins, Jones and Mills). It was an old-fashioned apporach to the cold weather and it worked.
Mills was 20 of 25 for 223 yards and a touchdown, runner Tito Hawkins ran 24 tines for 133 yards and a TD. Mitchell was 16/34 for 228 yards, 1 TD and four picks.
Ballymore can now look forward to a home game as they host the Conference final!
