CHAKOTA WASPS vs ADELPHIA PHOENIX
The Wasps’ Nest | Sunday February 21, 2016 – 1 PM on MAX

Will Wasps’ Quarterback Billy Humphrey play? That’s got to be the biggest question for this game. The 18 year veteran limped out of a bruising encounter last week against Seafax. The Storm were the number one defence and they knocked him down and about all day (including two late hit penalties). The Wasps will need him to be mobile enough to avoid the Adelphia pass rush. If he is, and Cobb doesn’t have to cover or rely on Neil James to bail him out- it could be the home team’s day. The Phoenix take chances and that could be all she wrote- you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Everything has worked for Michael Keys, Jeff Holliday and co. so far, will their luck run out?

The Phoenix are lead by an amazing attack, the forwards have been consistently good and Marshall Knight’s ground attack is complementary to the Aerial assault that Matt Kelly orchestrates. They don’t miss Hoover at all, Drew Hart has more than replaced him and Mitchell Rice is their special number one target downfield. The forwards have been resilient, even with a few makeshift lines this year, due to nagging injuries.

Both teams are stacked at the receiving positions, depth good on both sides. Both teams feel at home in a dome, too. The noise factor is what gives the Wasps the edge, unless the talismanic Quarterback can’t go.

Should be high-scoring, should be fun. Should be close, too!

EDGE: Wasps, by a late field goal (with Humphrey)
or Phoenix by a touchdown (without Humphrey)
