<![CDATA[UFB: Champions Tourney Rankings]]>The NUSA’s Bowl Executive Committee (BEC) released their final rankings for 2016. This ranking also gave us the final seedings for the Champions Tournament, culminating in the Champions Bowl game in January.
1. Olaskas Crimson Glory (G12)
2. Ohara Scarlets (GTen)
3. Stamford Rams (GTW)
4. Clementine Orange Wave (SAC)
5. O’Connell Shamrocks (AEC)
6. UNJ Titans (GEC)
7. NESU Knights (NEC)
8. Gayle Gryphons (AL)
This means that the Quarter finals are as follows:
1 Olaskas vs 8 Gayle
2 Ohara vs 7 NESU
3 Stamford vs 6 UNJ
4 Clementine vs 5 O’Connell
Ties to be played on 10/11 December 2016.
Controversy abound! Ohara and Olaskas have got the 1/2 places, whilst Clementine’s reward for defeating Alberto is fourth place(!) The Shamrocks and Titans will also feel slighted. I guess the Gryphons and Knights will have epected those seedings.
