With fourteen matches played, there are some distinct patterns on show in the league. Here’s our weekly rundown of the weeks notables :

Invincible! The Landor Knights are still undefeated. Next week they could well tie a record of fifteen wins to start a season, which has only been done once before. The big question is still ‘who can stop Elijah Brooks and that phenomenal attack?’

Tough at the Top The NC North is up for grabs, with the Ballymore Tigers and Rochester Trojans now neck and neck at the top. They play each other in week 18, so it could get very interesting, very soon.

Room for another one? The Caligara Bulldogs have now won five in a row and are tied with the St. George Sharks for third place in the NC West. Both have to play the Stars- and each other. Who gets in as the fifth seed? Or do they both disrupt the San Andreas Miners?

How awful? That is what the 2-12 records for the Victoria Panthers, Eregon Eagles and Amorgan Blues are. Which team is the worst 2-12 team? All three have both royally stunk up the league this season. The Blues and Panthers might not be coming back. I’m not sure who in the Eagles’ camp should be back in 2017. Looking on the bright side, the Eagles may now be a shoo-in for the number one pick in the draft!
