Whilst not too much has changed in the standings the past few weeks, there are teams that are running hot and very much not!

Here’s the main talking points from week 17:

15-0! The Landor Knights have still not tasted defeat this season. No one has ever gone 16-0 in the league’s history, so is history in the making here? The Knights have famously failed in the playoffs recently, but having guaranteed their place for this seasons’ party, guaranteed home field advantage, can they get that first play-off win this time around?
QB Elijah Brooks has played off the charts this season, the running game is still solid, they are graced with great receivers and a tough as nails defence. This story continues to asks us “Can anyone beat them?”. We’re not sure anyone can, right now.

100 Club! Julius James, Ellis Jones and Asante Brown all reached the 100 catch club for the season this weekend. Their teams passing success has been helped by their ability to hang on to the ball in key games.

1500 Club! For the third successive season, Knights RB Neil Mackenzie ran for 1500 yards in a season.

Race to 5k! The battle for passing yardage has been heating up. Now, it is between Drew Williams, the evergreen Billy Humphrey and Ryan Bruce as to who can get to 5,000 yards passing first. Slightly off the pace are the trio of Matt Kelly, Chase Hand and Brandon Mullen.

Play-off bound? The inconsistent defending champions Adelphia Phoenix need one win to qualify for the play-offs following the Storm’s recent demise. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen as to who misses out between Caligara, San Andreas, Ballymore, Rochester and St. George. Five into four won’t go, so someone will be left behind.
