The purchase of datango by SAP has seen a real push in development and extension of functionality and the optimization across all applications – not just SAP applications – is continuing to maintain this as a class leading product for the development of multiple formats of learning content. The release of Version 9.4 on April 15th 2015, and with it some brilliant new features including extension of the mobile platform and the EPSS Navigator functionality, continues to extend its advantage over competitors.

At Total Exact we are seeing this in the increased volume of interest from companies as well as the reaction that we still love seeing when showing off the software! SAP have over 600 new WPB customers since their acquisition only 3 years ago and many of the new features in 9.4 – including the extension of applications supported – show that they have really been listening to the customer base and this is promised to continue. The feedback from clients, both in terms of the speed of implementation and the immediate – and sometimes unexpected – advantages they find, is great to hear. We anticipate the willingness of SAP to listen will only increase the usability of the tool for development of all learning content.
